Ecumen Names Debbie Manthey and John Korzendorfer as Vice President, Operations

Debbie Manthey and John Korzendorfer are integral leaders in Ecumen’s operations and our work in changing aging.  Debbie has been promoted to vice president, housing operations and John has been appointed to vice president, campus operations.

In our housing with services and memory care communities, Debbie and Ecumen team members are creating environments that empower and honor the people we serve.  A big step in that work occurred last year with formation of The Lifestyle Covenant, an agreement we enter into with each customer to empower them to live fully.

John, who has vast experience in clinical settings, sees opportunity for us to dramatically change how we use nursing homes.  He’s been integral to our creation of a service niche in rehabilitation services and now John and others are looking at how we can apply that service excellence to chronic conditions, creating new and redesigned ways to fill customer needs that are not being fully served today by either acute care or sub-acute providers.  In this evolving approach, the nursing home becomes a vital resource to empowering people to live long-term in their own home.

Thank you to Debbie and John for all they’ve contributed to our progress.
