Emmanuel now called Ecumen-Detroit Lakes

Emmanuel Home and the independent, assisted, and memory care living options on the Emmanuel campus have been part of the Ecumen family of services since 1964.  This fall, they are joining the senior living communities across Ecumen in a shared visual identity under the Ecumen name and logo.

The services and housing that Ecumen provides in Detroit Lakes will be branded under the name of Ecumen Detroit Lakes.
“Ecumen provides senior housing and services statewide, so we need to make it easier for people across the region to know who we are and what we offer for older adults and their families,” said Janet Green, executive director of Ecumen Detroit Lakes.

The Ecumen logo underscores in print and on all materials what Ecumen promises: innovation, empowerment and honor for customers, employees, and volunteers.

In addition to new outdoor signage, the new Ecumen Detroit Lakes name and logo will be on all printed materials and the new website (coming soon), www.ecumendetroitlakes.org.

Only the name changes. “We’ve been a trusted, premier provider of senior living and services in Detroit Lakes for years,” notes Green, “and we look forward to serving this area for years to come.”

In addition to senior housing options, Ecumen Detroit Lakes offers short-term rehabilitation, home care, respite and adult day services, and other community services for older adults.

Ecumen is the most innovative leader of senior housing and services, empowering individuals to live richer and fuller lives.
Its mission is to create home for older adults wherever they choose to live. Ecumen envisions a world in which aging is viewed and understood in radically different ways. The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has identified Ecumen as one of Minnesota’s “Best Places to Work” for seven of the past eight years, and the Star Tribune named Ecumen as one of Minnesota’s “Top 100 Workplaces” in 2011.
